NARC’s Pets

We are opened from 1:00pm to 3:00pm Saturday and Sunday!
For evenings or off hours, please e-mail or call to set up an appointment to meet with one of our rescues. Volunteers will be happy to serve you.

Senior dogs, small breeds over 9 years, medium to large breed over 7 years of age are $280

Toy breeds are $600 (any dog under 10 pounds is considered a Toy Breed)

Regular breeds are $460 (Shih-Tzu, Daschund, Lhasa Apso, Miniature Poodle, Bishon Frisé, Labrador, etc…)

Rare or Mastiff Breeds are $560 (Italian Greyhound, Yorkie, Bulldog, Standard Poodle, etc…)

Our dogs will be dewormed, examined, spayed/neutered (when of proper age) by one of our veterinarians. When funds are available, will have hernia or lump removals, DA2PP, Rabies, Bordetella or dental work done by one of our vets, usually Blackburn Animal Hospital but may be with others we deal with. Anyone that knows our rescue, knows we find funds for all major surgeries (Patella, amputations, eye removal, cherry eye, eye surgery…) so our doggies usually come with all of the above!!

All of our rescues are treated with either Multi-Advantage, Advantage or Revolution once a month, dewormed with Strongid-T dewormer every 14 days and usually with Panacure for 3 days monthly.

Visit Sat or Sun between 1pm and 3pm or call us to meet our dogs even if it says available soon as some of them do go pretty fast!  E-mail or give us a call to come and meet our rescues at:

adoptions@narc-charity.ca

Telephone: 613-834-7005

We do the most of what we can for our dogs and will raise funds for major surgeries at all times, we try hard to do dental on all of our rescues who need it; bad teeth could damage their longevity.  Of course, we only do those that the veterinaries recommend doing right away, others with normal usage and tartar who do not need major cleaning will not be done! If some of our rescues do not have all of the above vet care, they would mostly be missing their Bordetella, Rabies shot or Microchip! We try to take care of any major vetting through NARC.

We do have Microchips, if you wish to Microchip your pet, give us a call, it also comes with 6 weeks free pet insurance.

We accept Canadian Tire money or donations for our Degus, Chinchillas, Rabbits and Kittens. Donations are always needed to continue with our work! Our regular prices are between $280-$600 per dog to help cover part of veterinary costs (spay/neuter, rabies, dental cleaning, teeth removals, hernia removal, dewormers, multi-advantage, antibiotics, pain medications, training, food, dental bones, crates, etc…)

  3. Rob says:

Will you be needing a foster home for any of Abigail’s 4 puppies?

  4. Jenni Meldrum says:

My friend Suki likes your rescue. I would like to volunteer to be a foster to dogs, who are 50lb or smaller, on an ongoing basis for you. I just euthanized Sweetey, 16 years old, in her Vet office she was soooo old, she was off of the charts. We had a long time together, she was good, and strong, when dogs came to board with us. She was a kind companion, to all of the dogs I walked.
    Sincerely,
    Jenni
