It seems like my foster family will become foster failures Ha! Ha! Ha! I am a year and a half Chihuahua, very friendly, great with the house cats and other dogs. I am sometimes shy with new people for about 5 minutes, less if you have a treat for me as I am very food motivated. I love to snuggle on the couch and will move your arm to get right in there and as close to you as possible. I love licking your arm and sometimes will try a soft nibble as I like to play with my folks. I really enjoy running around with toys in my mouth and playing with the other doggy friends I have made here in Canada. I am neutered, Rabies, DHPP, Lepto, blood work for heartworm tested negative, microchipped, pyrantel, multi-advantage, etc... I am barely 7 pounds!
I am an 11 month old Rat Terrier which such spunk and loving personality. At first, I am shy with strangers but give me a minute and I will come around and give you some loving. I am too adorable, looks like I am always smiling with those little dimples of mine. Everyone that I meet has fallen in love so I heard them say that I will definitely find a home very quickly. I am tan in color, tall legged and just too cute for words.
She is a mixed Heinz 57, super sweet but very shy with people and other animals, she has been good with the house cats but barely moves when they come near her - she is so unsure of everything surrounding her. Only time and patience will turn this little girl around so if you are prepared to give her some love, she is looking for that special someone where she can build trust and confidence. It will be baby steps but we know she will come around, week after week she will get better and better until she finally becomes a dog again! She was a stray, probably her whole life, approx. 1.5 years old, spayed, Rabies, microchip, dewormed, multi-advantage, blood work tested negative for heartworm, etc... She may want to hide in your closet the first few days so we suggest a crate for this little one with the door opened so she has a place for comfort! She is sweet and once you start petting her and stop, she will take a slow step closer and try to nudge you for more loving... Definitely a good catch for someone who has the courage to really have a RESCUE in need. We have started hand feeding her to show her that hands are a good thing and that we aren't like other wild dogs trying to steal her meal and that she doesn't have to fight for her next full tummy's worth... Sorry for the pound picture, better ones coming soon!
I am a Shih-Tuz crossed with Yorkie, 5 years old and ready for my loving patient home. I hear everyone say that I am very cute, grey and fluffy. Once I know you I am a loving boy and will follow you everywhere, come for snuggles and love to be loved. But, it takes me some time to warm up, especially with men. In my foster single home, I am fine and am not a barker but when they fostered me in an apartment before, I was a bit of a barker as I am scared of loud noises, strangers walking down the isles especially when it is a man's voice or a door slamming which there was a lot of in this complex... I am best suited with a patient retired couple or a single woman living in a single home where it will be quiet and I will strive such as I am doing now! I am a great little guy and know that with time all these small scary things will fade away but until then, I need a family that understands and is patient. I do not constantly bark and will stop the moment you tell me "NO" so am ready to learn with you how life is supposed to be!
Great Dane mixed Dalmation, big boy at already 37kg and only 10 months old, almost 11 months now! Big suck, loves attention and cuddles, will follow you everywhere and loves to lean on us and give the paw. He still doesn't get in the car by himself but lets himself be picked up and hauled in no issues, a big baby that will come around and hopefully jump in by himself soon - heavy load Ha! Ha! Ha! Amazing personality, gently giant, great with kids and babies! Neutered, Rabies, DAPP, Lepto, Dewormed, Multi-advantage for the month, etc...
Jeep is approx. 1 year old, super sweet and friendly, loves cuddles and overall a very good boy. He is still learning to not jump up on people but otherwise listens very well. He is neutered, Rabies, DAPP-Lepto, dewormed, multi-advantage, etc...
Kenny - joining us on Dec 2nd
Kenny is a special little guy, Pomeranian mixed who wasn't able to use his front leg - as you can see in the picture - he is holding it up! That being said, it had to be amputated - which was done last Wed (Nov 15th) so he is at the veterinary recovering until next week. He will then be ready for his loving home as a tripod. Neutered, Rabies, DAPP, Microchip, blood work heartworm tested negative, etc... Pictures of his surgery will be posted shortly!
See other picture for bio - only 20kg
Sweet guy, almost a year old, lab mixed ?, house trained, crate trained, great with kids, cats and other dogs - loves to play! He is a lover, wants to please so will be very easy to train with new commands and food motivated - perfect companion. Knows basic commands now, neutered, rabies, DAPP-L, dewormed, multi-advantage and ready for his loving home. Hard to take pictures of our black doggies, will try to get better ones soon!
Cutie little girl, 5-6 years old, shy but once she knows you she will follow you everywhere. Such a good girl, never hear her, very quiet, house trained, great with other dogs, cats and everyone she has met. She certainly loves to be cradled under the blankets. Spayed, Rabies, DAPP, Bordetella, blood work heartworm tested negative, microchip, dewormed, multi-advantage, etc...
Layla with her hoody
Layla went to her new loving home with her hoody, blanky and some treats - lucky girl!
Oh My God - cute little girl, 1 year old, fully trained and knows lots of tricks, will even play dead if you say "Maggie POW" with your fingers set as a gun, very sweet and affectionate. Spayed, Rabies, DAPP-Lepto, dewormed, multi-advantage.
Tea Cup Chihuahua just under 5 pounds, so cute and tiny. Female, approx. 1 year old, payed, rabies, DAPP, microchip, etc... and ready for her loving home - definitely a purse dog. She was shy with new people at first but now says hello to everyone. She is definitely not going to last long - tiny little cute girl! Very energetic, loves to play with other dogs, good with cats even if she is smaller - she wants to play with them and be loved. Great for doing her business outside considering she is so small but also trained on paper.
Cute little Nala came in with parasites so was very skinny, we had an ultrasound done to see if it was anything else but we were able to cure it with panacur for 5 days and now drontal. She is now spayed, Rabies, DAPP-Lepto and is gaining weight daily. She is shy at first with strangers - of course not when her person is there you would meet a loving dog and she doesn't show shyness but when alone... As when she was dropped off at the vet's, the next morning she was yelping as if they were hurting her and picking her up was quite hard for the staff. Then I came to pick her up and she was all kisses with everyone - needless to say they were all in shock Ha! Ha! Ha! and couldn't believe it was the same dog... She is approx 1.5 years old
Tiny little Chihuahua, barely 6 pounds but gaining slowly, great with everyone he has met including children and other dogs, good with the house cats too! Loves giving kisses and warming up by your side or under the blankets. Great little personality. Neutered, Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella, Microchipped, Pyrantel, Multi-Advantage, blood work Heartworm tested Negative, etc... Pickles is approx. 3-4 years old.
Can you say CUTENESS galore, so sweet and affectionate, just a love bug. He is a bit groggy in this picture as I just picked him up at the vet's from his neuter, rabies, DAPP-L, etc... He was very comfortable in the warmth of my coat Ha! Ha! Kids will be yelling MOM CAN WE KEEP HIM! Well, we certainly know that by this weekend - he is GONE... Maybe 2 years old, male and ready for his home this weekend! Better act fast - our furry friends go very quickly!
See bio in next picture.
