Such a love bug, sweet and quiet, loves attention although very quiet the first time he meets you, he will settle after a minute after some loving. Good with other dogs and the house cats, very docile and now starting to play with us - very good boy who is house and crate trained, listens well and wants to please. Approx 1.5 years old mixed dog.
Sharpei mixed Labrador, 5 years old and dumped at a local place where they said he spent days waiting for his owners to return. While he was patiently waiting for over a week at this hot cemented parking lot, he greeted customers with a wagging tail in hopes that someone would take him home - until a fellow rescue saw him and brought him home wishing that he finds his last fur-ever home. Great with everyone he has met, good with other dogs, cats, etc... He is the sweetest boy, calm and quiet. Since Ceasar has been with us, he has bonded with members of his foster family, mostly the husband but is still very shy with strangers.
Ceasar was tested for heartworm and was positive, she has been treated for heartworm and will come with heartgard to take and a re-test mid 2018.
Max (Needs an experienced handler)
A great boy who needs a special and firm family. When introduced properly to other dogs, he can be friendly and play with them, we have videos of him playing with smaller dogs without issues but they were slowly introduced. He still has food and toy possession issues which is being trained out of him so we need someone who will listen to us in manipulating Max when playing or eating. You can pet him no issues and can remove a bone if done properly but if he thinks you are taking it away, he can show some aggressive behaviors with the wrong people. He is a great dog, really playful and a lover but I can't state enough that he will need a home without kids and preferably without other dogs. His food and toy behavior will need to be worked on constantly until he is such as he is with us and lets us do whatever we want. He was not so nice with one of our fosters although they did not listen and gave him bones within the hour of having him - he needs to know his pecking order and bones should be worked for - not just handed over if this boy is to progress with his training, such as he is now. A great dog for someone wanting to take on the challenge of training - an experienced handler is a must as he is a big goofy guy! We can share our videos on feeding, training, playing with other dogs - the problem with Max is that he is so sweet, people tend to forget that because of his loving nature, and this is when he growls to possess his bone...
